The 2303 Stabilock delivers the measurement results quickly and precisely. Whether in trunked radio mode or optional direct mode, whether 400 or 800 MHz band: after setting the network parameters and the frequency range, the measuring device is ready for use. The 6.5-inch diagonal TFT colour display is divided into four areas from which the measurement results can be read numerically or graphically. All settings and measurement callups can be carried out via six soft keys or one-handed via the rotary and push button. Reduction of the TETRA complexity to what is really needed in the service – with this operating concept you can operate the measuring instrument easily via the high-quality click keyboard of the Stabilock. Alternatively, you can also access all the elements on the screen, like a PC, using a USB mouse.

The 2305 Stabilock is a device platform with software for checking TETRA terminals, base stations, or both. Service staff check the quality of the sender and receiver with the Stabilock. Base stations can be tested at output levels up to 100 W. Base stations with separate antenna paths for transmitters and receivers can also be checked quickly and easily. The 4405 Mobile Phone Tester offers exceptional precision, such as in the voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR). In addition, the 4405 offers high measurement speed and stability, making it the first choice in manufacturing and production.

The 4400 Mobile Phone Testers are a test solution for production and service/repair which require a platform with several technologies. The 4400 enables testing of GSM, GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA (UMTS), HSDPA, 1xEV-DO and TD-SCDMA terminals.
The measurement speed and accuracy of the mobile phone tester 4403 fully meets the requirements of the service environment in terms of calibration and adaptation and performance of the final test on the mobile phone. The final tests are different and predefined by priority mobile phone manufacturers. The 4400 series is approved for use in the service by all manufacturers.

The portable spectrum analyser 9101 is highly accurate and equipped with all common functions. The wide frequency range of up to 4 GHz allows the testing of all modern local oscillators for mobile telephony as well as harmonics and counterwaves, which can mix and penetrate the pass band. This RF analysis in the frequency range is usually necessary for RF repair on radio equipment and receivers. The 9101 Handheld Spectrum Analyser offers all the performance parameters of a demanding laboratory device. With a battery, it weighs less than 2.5 kg! Of course, the 9101 can also be operated and charged via a vehicle charging adapter (12 VDC).

The 9102 base unit has a frequency range of 100 kHz to 4 GHz and a resolution bandwidth (RBW) of up to 1 kHz. An optional frequency extension allows measurements up to 7.5 GHz. The 9102 is small in size and weight and boasts a large, bright screen and easy-to-use menu navigation. The 9102 offers many options for specific applications. For example, the optional tracking generator supports cable measurements, and the 9130 VSWR/DTF Reflection Measurement Option is available for both return loss and cable fault measurements.

The 9103 has a frequency range of 100 kHz to 7.5 GHz and a resolution bandwidth (RBW) of up to 1 kHz. The 9103 is small in size and weight and boasts a large, bright screen and easy-to-use menu navigation. The 9103 offers many options for specific applications. For example, the optional tracking generator supports cable measurements, and the 9130 VSWR/DTF Reflection Measurement Option is available for both return loss and cable fault measurements.

The 9160 VSWR/DTF Bridge enables acceptance and service testing of professional antenna systems, such as mobile base stations. Operators of radio systems with antenna installations can use the reflection measurement mode to test the power and the harmony of the antenna system over the desired frequency range at a glance. The DTF measurement mode for cable tests can be used to detect defects that occur in coaxial cables, such as due to bends, faulty connectors or water entry.

The 4921 RF Shield is an effective and robust RF shielding solution for use in testing 3G mobile phones, data cards and WiFi terminals in service centres and production facilities. The 4921 is the ideal solution for service providers and manufacturers with a high test volume. The 4921 RF Shield easily meets the requirements that arise here, such as multiple opening and closing of the box. The RF Shield eliminates interference caused by nearby mobile phones and the local base station and protects the environment from RF radiation from the tested mobile phone or terminal. Architecture
The 4200 series is controlled by an industry standard PC running the Windows operating system. The graphical user interface has been designed to provide a familiar environment allowing new users to quickly progress along the learning curve.

Within the range, there are three systems, the 4215, 4220 and 4250.

The differences lay in the testpoint count and power supply capacity:
4215 – Maximum of 1152 universal testpoints & three user power supplies
4220 – Maximum of 2048 universal testpoints & up to six user power supplies
4250 – Small footprint and updated version of the 4220

All systems use a cardcage architecture and can be fitted with a range of cards selected from the following list to provide the most appropriate configuration:

The 5200 series is the fastest analog test system available, combining high speed and the ability to accurately test a wide range of component types, effectively blurring the line between MDA, or analog In-Circuit, and full digital In-Circuit. This capability minimizes the investment in test systems by reducing the number of platforms required to achieve throughput and providing the highest level of test coverage within a single manufacturing stage.

The system is controlled by an industry standard PC, with a Windows 2000™ operating system. The 5200 series has a small footprint allowing simple integration into automated in-line manufacturing facilities.
Within the range, there are two systems, the 5210 with fixed unit under test (UUT) power supplies and the 5220 offering programmable versions.

Architecture
The testframe of the 5200 series is 19 in rack mountable containing eleven slots for testpoint cards, and a further three to take a range of functional resources. Each testpoint card offers 192 pins, interfaced to the test fixture through interconnection cabling. This approach provides the user with the ability to integrate the system into an inline handler or use a range of fixturing with a human operator.

Advanced Test Techniques
Test techniques such as analog In-Circuit, boundary scan and functional ensure the highest level of fault coverage. Although by definition, a Manufacturing Defects Analyzer does not provide digital device testing through testpoint memory, the 5200 series features a digital capability through the use of boundary scan and vectorless tools.

Vectorless Test Capability
Aeroflex Limited is unique in offering both inductive and capacitive vectorless techniques, ensuring wide test coverage across a range of components from complex ASICs to connectors. Inductive probing is performed using the Aeroflex patented Q-Test II technique, whilst capacitive tests use the industry standard HP TestJet™ probe. These two techniques contribute to the system’s ability to generate tests for complex devices quickly, and to accurately diagnose faults to enhance productivity and quality.

The multifunctional test system combines in-circuit testing with analogue and digital function testing. The user can also add PXI instruments to the 5800 system and control them seamlessly with the AIDE test environment. The 5800 series is available in three housing variants, as a tabletop unit (5820), built-in version (5830) and as a compact stand-alone unit (5860) with several industry standard interfaces.
